Terms of Use
The service
OpenIntel Archive provides search, analysis and citation tooling over declassified primary-source documents. It is offered as is, without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Access may change as the product develops.
The documents
The underlying records are official documents of their originating states and bodies, published by those bodies' own archives. We do not claim ownership of them. Each carries its archival reference and a link to the originating archive.
Some holdings carry their own conditions. NATO Archives material, for example, is publicly disclosed for research and education, and any commercial use requires NATO's written permission. Where such a condition is recorded, it is shown on the archive's page here. It is the user's responsibility to observe the conditions of the originating archive.
Our annotations
The normalization, claim/evidence relations, assessments, divergence analysis and provenance links are our editorial work. You may quote them with attribution to OpenIntel Archive.
Accuracy and verification
We publish verbatim passages and label the basis of every analytical relation, but transcription and interpretation errors are possible. Before publishing, verify any passage against the originating archive's own copy. Report errors to bilgi@basvurukarnesi.com; corrections are tracked.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent usage limits, or scrape at a rate that degrades it for others. The documented API is the supported route for programmatic access.
