Privacy
This site sets no cookies. It loads no third-party script, no tag manager, no session replay and no advertising pixel. There is nothing to consent to, so there is no cookie banner.
What is collected
| Product analytics | A step name (for example search or graph_viewed),
a random identifier held in memory for a single page load, and a timestamp. The identifier is not a cookie,
is never written to storage, and is gone when you close the tab. It cannot be linked to you or to a later visit.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, no analytics request is made at all. |

Where it is stored
The application database is hosted on Supabase in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, Germany) region. Static delivery runs on Vercel's global edge network.
Legal basis and purpose
Analytics events are processed for the legitimate interest of understanding which parts of the research workflow are used. Contact form data is processed to answer your enquiry. Data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and there is no profiling or automated decision-making.
Retention
Analytics events are kept in aggregate form. Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, and deleted on request.
Your rights
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK art. 11) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. Write to bilgi@basvurukarnesi.com and we will respond.
The documents themselves
The corpus consists of officially declassified government records that are already public. It is not personal data collected from you. Historical records naturally name people; if you believe a record is published here in error, write to us.
